These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Iziko Crochet website, and your purchase of our products and services. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

"Iziko Crochet", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the seller and website operator. "You" and "your" refer to the user, visitor, or customer. "Products" refer to handcrafted crochet bags and related accessories.

2. Ordering and accounts

• You must be of legal age to place an order. You agree to provide accurate, current information.
• Orders are offers to purchase. We may accept or reject any order, and may cancel before dispatch if a significant error occurs (e.g., pricing or availability).
• We will notify you upon order acceptance and provide an estimated timeline.

3. Custom orders

• Custom work begins after design confirmation and payment as agreed.
• Small variations in color, texture, and dimensions are inherent to handcrafted products.
• Custom orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable once production has started, except for workmanship defects.

4. Pricing and payment

• Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise and exclude delivery charges unless specified.
• Payment is required in full prior to production or shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We may update prices and promotions at any time; confirmed orders are not affected by later changes.

5. Production and lead times

Lead times are estimates and may vary based on order volume and complexity. We will communicate material issues or delays as soon as reasonably possible.

6. Shipping and delivery

• Delivery options and costs are shown at checkout or quoted for custom/bulk orders.
• Risk of loss passes upon delivery to the address you provide. Please ensure address details are complete.
• International orders may attract duties and taxes payable by you. Carrier delays are outside our control.

7. Inspection and acceptance

Please inspect your order within 48 hours of delivery and contact us promptly about any concerns with photos and your order number so we can assist.

8. Returns and exchanges

• Ready-made items may be exchanged within 7 days in unused condition with original tags/packaging. You are responsible for return shipping unless we made an error.
• Custom orders are not eligible for return or refund once production begins, except to remedy workmanship defects.
• To start a return or exchange, please contact us for instructions.

9. Quality and workmanship

We take pride in our craftsmanship. Handcrafted variations are normal and part of each product’s uniqueness. We warrant against workmanship defects for 30 days from delivery; our remedies may include repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

10. Care and use

Please follow our care guidance to extend product life. Damage caused by misuse, improper care, or normal wear-and-tear is not covered.

11. Intellectual property

All content and materials on this site, including product designs, images, logos, text, and graphics, are owned by or licensed to Iziko Crochet and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

12. User content

If you submit reviews, photos, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content for promotional purposes. You represent that you own or have rights to the content you submit.

13. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the site for unlawful purposes, to infringe rights, to transmit harmful code, to scrape or harvest data, to interfere with site operation, or to reverse engineer any part of the site.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iziko Crochet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim in the three (3) months preceding the event.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Iziko Crochet harmless from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site or products.

16. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, supply interruptions, labor disputes, or carrier issues.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You consent to the jurisdiction of the South African courts in connection with any dispute.

18. Dispute resolution

We aim to resolve concerns amicably. Please contact us first to attempt resolution. If unresolved, you may pursue your rights in the competent courts.
